AVSOC is back again this year with its annual party bus! This year’s theme was golf and tennis. Many of you guys looked like super trendy sport stars walking around the city with your golf and tennis gears! This year we visited four awesome venues, the Scary Canary, Jungle Bar, Side Bar, and of course, our favourite of them all, UNSW’s one and only Roundhouse.
We started at the Roundhouse with a drink (or eight) at 6.30 pm, then headed towards the city on our super lit party bus. The party bus was lit with neon lights, everyone was dancing to the music, chit chatting and getting to know each other before we hit up the first venue. Our first venue was Sidebar which was an underground backpacker bar in Haymarket and it was heaps of fun. They had unique drinks like cocktail buckets. The ‘neon bucket’ and the ‘sex on the beach’ cocktail buckets in particular were super tasty. Our next venue was Jungle Bar which had a really cool jungle vibe and good drinks with a great price as well. Finally, last but not least our final venue was the Scary Canary which had really great music.
All in all, the whole trip was a lot of fun no matter where the venues were, it’s the company that matters. Thank you to all of you who attended the AVSOC party bus event and made it super fun. Stay tuned with the AVSOC’s facebook page for more cool events like this in the future!
