Deviating from the norm, the 2019 Aviation Ball was held on a cruise on the night of 8th November 2019. The cruise sailed around Sydney Harbour giving us the perfect backdrop for our yearly celebrations.
Departing from King St Wharf, unique Aviation Society boarding passes were handed out that directed students to their tables and seats.
Upon departure welcome drinks were served setting the tone for the night.
Whilst sailing under the Sydney Harbour Bridge our 3 course meal service began.
During the meal service, Aviation Ball awards were presented. Award categories included most likely to lose their pilots license, best dressed, cutest couple, most likely to be CEO, AvGeek of the year, most likely to become a Insta Pilot model, most likely to go outer space, wonder woman, life of the party and the most likely to fall off the boat.
After the Ball awards, Professor Gabriel Lodewijiks headed to the stage to sum up the year and announce developments in the School of Aviation’s for 2020.

With the conclusion of the formalities, the party began with all enjoying their time.
